Dr. Kacy Borba hails from a big family in a small cow-town on the central coast of California. She pursued her 3.5 years of undergraduate education at UC Santa Cruz and studied Community Healthcare, a major she designed, focusing on social inequities in healthcare and biomedical sciences. A few years later she found herself in Portland, OR for graduate school at the National College of Natural Medicine where she spent 6.5 years growing, changing, learning, healing and connecting with Naturopathic and Chinese medicine. Dr. Kacy Borba has a diverse work and volunteer history.
She is a passionate advocate of health equity who works well with institutions to affect positive change in diversity, cultural climate, and public health issues. She is a valued, reliable, goal-oriented team member known for her creativity, pragmatism, hard work and grounded, calming presence.
Dr. Kacy Borba enjoys and is able to connect with a variety of folks. She prefers her role as practitioner to be a partnership andrealizes healing is a journey with many paths. She is creative, flexible and grounded in her approach to care. A typical visit will include Naturopathic and Chinese medical theories and will begin a conversation to understand your health history, body work (including acupuncture), and an individualized treatment that meets your abilities, resources and needs. Dr. Kacy treats all ages from infants to wise-elders, and everyone in between.
